Why I Chose These 5 Strengths

Discipline

Discipline is what made me who I am today. During my baccalaureate year, just one month before the national exam, I suffered a stroke. Suddenly I had to relearn how to sit, walk, and write, all in time to take the most important exam of my life. Rehab alone was not enough. I followed my therapy every day and pushed through the hard days because I did not want to disappoint my future self. In the end, I not only earned the grade I had dreamed of, but also a scholarship to the university I had hoped to attend. That month taught me that discipline can carry me through almost anything.

Maximizer

When I put my mind into a specific piece of work, I give it everything I have. I keep pushing until I reach a result that I feel is truly my limit, not just something that meets the requirements. That way, when I finish, I have no regrets, because I know I could not have done it better at that moment. For me, the goal is not just to complete the work but to make it the best version I am capable of.

Strategic

I do not see myself as the smartest person in the room, but I am very strategic. Before I make any big decision, I think it through twice and ask whether it aligns with my ikigai: what I love, what I am good at, what the world needs, and what can support my future. At the same time, I leave some space for hobbies, just enough to explore things outside my field. This balance keeps me focused on my main path without closing myself off from new ideas.

Developer

I enjoy helping my peers learn. Every time I finish a project, I usually teach what I did to my friends so they can learn something new from it too. Explaining my work to someone else is rewarding because I get to watch them understand an idea they did not know before. It also helps me, because teaching forces me to understand my own work more clearly.

Learner

I believe that on the data science track I am taking, a lifelong learning mindset is essential. Technology like AI is making competition higher every year, but it is also creating solutions that are far more effective than what we had just a few years ago. If I stop learning, I fall behind. If I keep learning for the rest of my life, I can keep growing and move closer to achieving my dream.

The Strength I Want to Grow

The strength I most want to develop is definitely Developer. Teaching others is fun, but it can be frustrating when they do not understand what I am trying to say. That showed me the problem is not always the idea itself, but how I communicate it. So I want to improve my speaking skills and learn to explain my ideas more clearly. Becoming a good speaker and storyteller is something I plan to work on for the rest of my life, because the better I can share what I know, the more I can help others grow.
